How to look after clothes
A. The simplest and most obvious one we should all know but many of us don't do enough. Change you clothes after work, wear some old comfy clothes around the house and save nice clothing for work or going out.
B. If you ever get a stain on a article of clothing make sure you
clean the stain immediately because if you leave it the stain will be much harder to remove later on.
C. Store away clothes that are not in season or unlikely to be worn for a long time. Clean them first, fold them neatly and protect them by
putting in a box or bag. You can then save on wardrobe space by putting them at the top/back of your wardrobe or other out of the way storage area.
D. Save money by buying clothes off season and ideally during a sale. Another good tip is to use the off season sales to buy lots of commonly used clothes such as
t-shirts, jeans, socks and underwear for example. Even better look for discount stores for these items.
E. Buy neutral colours. These clothes can be worn with many more other garments.
F. Do a garage sale and get rid of all your old clothing that you don't wear anymore. Don't hold on to clothes you haven't worn for 18 months just in case you think of a reason to wear them.
G. If you have friends that wear similar sizes, swap clothes with them to add variety to your wardrobe without the expense.
