How to remove stains
Here's how to use vinegar to remove all sorts of stains. Some stains will be easy to get rid of, some will need a bit more effort. Here's how.
Easy stains (eg sauce, coffee, deodorant) - Saturate the stain with vinegar. Let it soak in then wash the garment.
Harder stains (eg grease, wine, sweat) - Pour vinegar on the stain then rub the stain with course salt using something like a toothbrush. Repeat as needed and then allow to dry before washing garment as normal.
Really tough stains (eg grass, ink) - Apply vinegar as above then make a paste out of vinegar and baking soda. Rub this paste in with a toothbrush and then wash as normal.
If still no luck a last resort is to add a few tablespoons of vinegar and and couple of
laundry detergent to a bucket of water and allow garment to soak overnight. Then rinse and wash.
