How to sew a button
A. After you have threaded and knotted a needle, insert the needle into the material so that the knot stays on the back of the material and is not visible.
B. Sew two or three stiches in the material where the button will be, this will anchor your thread. Place the button Where it is to be fixed in place.
C. Thread your needle up through the button hole. Lay another pin on top of the button. Take the thread over top of this pin and bring your needle back down through a second button hole.
D. Repeat step C to make about six stitches over the pin to anchor your button.
E. If you have a button with more than two holes then repeat step D for the other button hole pairs.
F. Insert your needle through to the back of the material and knot the thread in with the threads that have attached the button to the item of clothing. Cut the thread.
G. Remove the pin that was laid flat and snug the button to the loops of thread by gently pulling the button
